I'm curious - what exactly is a wrapping paper book?
Whether you're looking for a unique gift or some beautiful paper to wrap it in, wrapping paper books are versatile and convenient. Each of our gorgeous books has ten sheets of ~A1 size wrapping paper, neatly folded into A4 size books. Printed onto high-quality paper, each sheet has been designed by NZ artists, with themes for every occasion. -
What are the sheet sizes?
Each sheet folds out to 820 x 525mm in size. They wrap around a wide variety of gifts from books to small boxes. -
How thick is the paper?
Each sheet is 80gsm, which we are often told is ‘nice and thick’. It’s completely opaque, cuts easily and won’t rip. -
Who designs the sheets?
Each sheet has been designed or illustrated by a different New Zealand artist - making each book 100% New Zealand created! It’s a great way to learn about local and emerging artistic talent. Inside the book, you will find a short bio about each artist and their print. -
What else can they be used for?
Our wrapping paper is made to be used, enjoyed, wrapped with or given away. But if you can’t bear to part with a favourite sheet, you can also use it as a poster, to wrap notebooks, for crafts, origami, letter writing, and collage...you’re only limited by your imagination! -
Why should I choose a Wrapping Paper Book over a roll?
Rolls are a pain - they take up so much space, stacked up tall, ready to topple over whenever you pull something out of the wardrobe, or their ends are always jutting out awkwardly from shelves. The paper edges always get ripped and crushed, and you never know how much you have left (until you come to wrap something and realise there’s only 10cm left on the roll). Plus they’re such a hassle to cut straight and neatly. Our Wrapping Paper Books are compact, tidy, and you always know exactly what you have on hand. You’ll no longer be limited to one design and you can pick the design that best suits the recipient for a fun and personal touch.

Stacey Weaver Studio, born out of a deep-rooted love for florals, draws inspiration from cherished memories of her mother's green-fingered touch in the family home. The journey began in 2015, capturing the beauty of fading blooms, with a particular fascination for the Pink Peony's elegant transformation. This artistic endeavour gave life to the first collection of botanical art prints, marking the start of a continuous celebration of nature through photography. From open editions to limited prints, the studio has evolved.
In 2018, the studio expanded its offerings, introducing a range of gift and stationery items crafted in Christchurch. The product line includes notebooks, washi tape, and textile pouches, alongside silk-modal blend scarves, cushions, and lampshades, each boasting floral patterns. Stacey Weaver's creations have graced the pages of renowned publications including Homestyle, Your Home & Garden, Queensland Homes magazine, Stuff Lifestyle and Latitude magazines and earned here a place in select New Zealand retail stores.
